The Master Chefs series, published in paperback in September 1996, is now available in two hardback volumes. This, the first of the two, concentrates on summer recipes. The authors featured in Summer Cooking are Arabella Boxer, Gordon Ramsay, Pat Chapman, Clare Connery, Antony Worral Thompson, Paul and Jeanne Rankin, Paul Gayler, Alastair Little, Rick Stein, Michel Roux, Valentina Harris, Roger Verge, Richard Olney, Janeen Sarlin, Aglaia Kremezi, Jacki Passmore, Michele Scicolone, Jill Dupleix, Yan-Kit So, Karen Lee, Carole Walter and Elinor Klivans.
A journalist, photographer, & food columnist for a leading Athens newspaper, Aglaia Kremezi is a contributing writer for the "Los Angeles Times" & "Gourmet." She won a Julia Child Award for her first book, "The Foods of Greece." An internationally known expert on Greek & Mediterranean cuisine, she has appeared on "Good Morning America," "CBS This Morning," & many other national & local programs. She helped develop the menu for New York City's famous Greek restaurant Molyves, which was given a three-star ("excellent") rating by the "New York Times." Born & raised in Athens, she has a house on the Greek island of Astipalaia.
